Trekking around the eighth highest peak on the planet, Mount Manaslu
We will trek one of the most beautiful Himalayan routes, marveling at the splendor of mountains like Manaslu at 8156 meters, Annapurna II (7937m), Himachuli (7893m), Ganesh Himal (7422m), Himlung Himal (7120m), and Ngadi Chuli (7871m). We will conquer the Larkya La Pass at 5135 meters, traversing diverse climatic zones from enchanting moss-covered forests to Martian-like desert landscapes. Living in homes of local residents in Buddhist villages, we will indulge in the traditional dish dal bhat endlessly. We'll visit the glacial lake Birendra, peek into the Manaslu Base Camp, the starting point for climbers. Exploring ancient Buddhist monasteries, we'll immerse ourselves in the rich cultural heritage of the region. We'll also discover our inner strength and resilience. After the trek, we'll take a tiny plane to the city of Pokhara to relax for a couple of days by Lake Fewa.

Travel itinerary day by day:
Day 1
Early arrival in Kathmandu. Processing all permits based on passports and the affixed Nepalese visa, buying the missing equipment in the Thamel market, visiting the Kopan Monastery or the temple complex of Pashupatinath.
Day 2
Transfer by private transport to the village of Arughat, then drive along the Buri Gandaki River to the village of Machha Khola (900m) by jeeps. The journey takes 7 hours with a lunch break.
Day 3
Machha Khola (900m) - Jagat (1410m). Suspension bridges, waterfalls, a mountain river, and black rocks covered with ferns will be on our way today. The trek will take 7 hours.
Day 4
Jagat (1410m) - Deng (1804m). Today, our path will include rivers, waterfalls, and hot springs, and we will stop in the Gurung village of Deng. From here, there is a view of the peak of Ringu Himal (7161m). The trek will take 6 hours.
Day 5
Deng (1804m) - Namrung (2630m). Along our way, we start to encounter mountain Buddhist monasteries, and the villages become more authentic and remote from civilization. Through blooming rhododendron forests, crossing to the other side of the Buri Gandaki River, we will arrive for the night in the village of Namrung. The trek takes 6-7
Day 6
Namrung (2630m) - Lo (3180m). Today, we are heading to the village of Lo to get a full view of the eight-thousander, Manaslu. Passing through barley fields, past Buddhist gompas, and ascending even higher, we will reach Lo, a large village with the Ribum Monastery perched on a hill.
Day 7
Lo (3180m) - Samagaon (3530m). Today, we are heading to the village of Samagaon, where we will stay for one day for high-altitude acclimatization. Samagaon is a mountain village surrounded by snowy Himalayan peaks; from here, climbers set out for expeditions to Manaslu.
Day 8
Acclimatization day in Samagaon. Today, for better altitude acclimatization, we are staying in the village of Samagaon. From here, we have two options for acclimatization hikes - to the base camp of Manaslu (4900m) or to the mountain lake Birendra Tal (3450m) and the cave of Milarepa, where he meditated.
Day 9
Samagaon (3530m) - Samdo (3860m). Trek to the small village of Samdo. Today, we have a very short trek, only 2-3 hours, due to proper acclimatization. We are taking it easy today, allowing ourselves a light walking day to make it easier to cross the pass in a couple of days.
Day 10
Samdo (3860m) - Dharamsala (4460m). Past green hills and snow-capped peaks, we trek towards our base camp before the Larkya La Pass (5160m). We will settle for the night in tents or small stone shelter huts. Tonight, our accommodation might not offer 5-star comfort, but incredibly beautiful views are guaranteed!
Day 11
Dharamsala (4460m) - Larkya La Pass (5160m) - Bimtang (3720m). Today, we face our longest trek as we need to conquer the Larkya La Pass. Technically, the pass is not too challenging, but it will take us around 10 hours to cross it. The landscapes along the way are out of this world – snow-covered high-altitude lakes, views of seven and eight-thousanders, and the pass adorned with Buddhist prayer flags. Today, we plant our victory flags in honor of crossing the pass, take photos, and descend to the village of Bimtang.
Day 12
Bimtang (3720m) - Dharapani (1960m). We conclude our journey around the eighth highest peak on the planet, Manaslu, and descend to the village of Dharapani, where we celebrate the end of the trek! The trek takes 8 hours.
Day 13
Transfer by jeeps from Dharapani to Pokhara. The journey takes 7 hours.
Days 14-15
We will wake up to the singing of birds with a view of the turquoise Feva Lake. In Pokhara today and tomorrow, we will be savoring the leisurely life, emulating exemplary vacationers. The plan includes a pool, boat rides on the lake, an open-air cinema in the jungle, excellent local restaurants, and shops with Buddhist souvenirs.
Departure from Pokhara to Kathmandu in the evening.
Day 16
We'll say our goodbyes, give hugs, and head off to our homes from Kathmandu.

Reviews about travels in the Himalayas with Tanya:
The beauty that opened up to the eyes was simply endless. Most of the time, I felt like a happy spaniel with a sideways tongue. And we were so lucky with the team - it just happened that all strangers were such a great team - comfortable, supportive, not intrusive, but always walking alongside when needed.

Now I want to trek, see higher mountains, and come to the Himalayas again. Thank you, Tanya Sharapova, for this miracle, the discovery of a new world, the extremely friendly team, and a new feeling about myself. It was one of the most beautiful, divinely beautiful places in the world I've ever seen. It was one of the most remarkable trips in my life.

Wild untouched nature and spectacular mountains, the opportunity to be alone and at the same time in the company of such nice people. Tanya showed us incredible places. Now I can't imagine myself lying on the beach for two weeks, staying in the same hotel, when there are so many fascinating things in the world. I want to have time to see everything!
